I cannot pin point the exact moment where the light bulb went off.

Perhaps it was one of those days where I looked around, dropped in, and bowed my head. Tears falling, in the way they do, without permission and with their own agenda. Or perhaps it was like a meteor shower of events, showing up in a wondrous demonstration of cosmic signaling. Or maybe it was just a white rabbit of curiosity that led me from moment to moment, each investigation unknowingly building on the next.

At some point in rebuilding my self after calling off an 8 year relationship and our almost marriage, recovering from the loss of my reproductive system, navigating the side effects of hormone therapy, finding my footing with financial literacy, navigating painful moments in my current marriage, and spinning in the most dizzy “what should I do with my life” question, a single thought slowly danced by and would continue to dance by to this very day...life didn’t have to feel like this.

Cue the Minion looking shocked...WHAT?! But this is the only way I knew life could feel. Chaotic, laden with mental burden, and just when you thought you were breaking free here was the universal broom to sweep you back to reality.

What a limiting story to live with right. So boring in it’s development and beyond predictable. No sparkles, or confetti, or soul stirring awe.

So I found myself on an adventure.

Likely the same adventure you have been on, or are just embarking on. There is a quiet or maybe screaming voice in your head that you are listening to that says the way you have been doing life up until this point in one or many categories could be different.

That beautiful thought, took me on an adventure. It led me to a somatic reconnection, resurrection, and remembering time and time again.

In the most beautiful demonstration of universal delivery, synchronicities, and invitations to expand I would be delivered to moments that invited me to reflect not through my mind but through my body, my habits, and my stories to see myself differently. I would come in contact with the abundance that I was bypassing everyday, stuck in my narrowed haze of doom.

I would be humbled, confronted, cracked open, and knocked down to gain perspective. Because I love a good philosophical ponder and exploration, the invitation was always accepted. Did I always enjoy the adventure...NOPE, I’m still a human with an ego and scars that doesn’t want to be challenged. But I would do it again and again to know this truth, the little voice was right. Life doesn’t have to be one pile after another of steaming hot suffering that we are all eager to wallow in as some weird trophy.

Let this truly sink in, we didn’t come here to suffer endlessly, living in fear, like some awful purgatory.

Rather, we can know our abundance, our wholeness, our loving heart, deep connection with self and others, and we can offer that to the world as radiant evidence that we are living. Not in spite of, but with the roller coaster of life. We can choose to see life differently.

I know, I know, you may be thinking “but you don’t know what I have been through,” You are right I don’t, everyone has a story and I believe in your ability to rise, but do you believe in a different tomorrow?

So, my fellow soul wanderers, let us liberate the weight that suffocates you on the inside. The hurts, the stories, the protectors, the long ago fractured parts that are there quietly orchestrating your reality to be what it is. Because until you develop the awareness to let go and be with what is, you will continue to walk this beautiful earth, blind, disconnected, and ripe with limits. But...it doesn’t have to be that way, it can be different.

I am here to walk into the darkness with you, to celebrate your greatest wins, hold your hand, and hype you up when you just want to say F**** you. So, join me, say yes to the little voice and it’s invitation for a different reality. Let us go on an adventure.
